Let's Enjoy The Space
This article will help you to do an interesting experiment. You might feel why should I do an experiment? What's the use? But I request you to just give it a try. Remember, as kids we loved tinkering with anything and everything. The purpose of those childhood desires to simply experiment was not to make the next big scientific discovery but to just have fun. The fun of trying something new. And the more mischievous it was greater the fun.
I request you read this sentence. 'IlovedoingexperimentsbecauseIamamischievousperson'. I know you understood what was written but it was difficult to understand in the first reading, isn't it? You even might have read it twice and got irritated for a second. It's okay.
Now try this. 'I love doing experiments because I am a mischievous person '. This sentence was way too easy to understand. You read in one go.
Look at the beauty and importance of " S P A C E " my dear reader. The two sentences that you read had exactly the same words and same meaning. It was verbatim. But the space between them made such a big difference. It took some time for you to read and understand the first sentence. Probably you even got irritated for a second. But the same sentence when written with spaces between each word was extremely easy to read and comprehend. You might be angry at this juncture and thinking, "Come on Abhishek! what's the big deal in this. We need space to read and understands better. That's a no brainer. Tell me something new".
Building on the above example, I ask you three very interesting questions.
* Have you ever tried reading your thoughts?
* Does a space exists between them?
* Are you able to make a sense of what you are thinking most of the time?
Trust me, dear, for most of us including you and me, our thoughts are literally sticking to one another. And when they stick very closely to one another the space between them is not visible. And, when you don't witness any space between your thoughts you get irritated. You are simply unable to make sense of what you are thinking. If I put it more simply there exists a perfect traffic jam in your mind, where every thought is honking at its full capacity making you feel noisy and irritated from within.
I hope now you can understand the importance of 'Space'. This space or the gap between two thoughts helps you to relax and think more clearly. When there exists a space between your thought you can see them with more clarity and comfort. You will personally feel far more relaxed because there exists a space between them. In other words, the mind is not jam-packed.
When you are stuck in a long traffic jam, it is the lack of space and comfort that irritates you, isn't it? You just want the vehicle standing in front of you to move ahead, even if it is a Mercedes. So, dear reader, no matter which thought it is you don't want to feel your mind getting stuck in a traffic jam of your thoughts. Therefore, you want a reasonable space. The space to move freely. To remains with ease and comfort. To enjoy the leisure of a road where other vehicles(i.e your other thoughts) have a reasonable space between them and you enjoy your driving.
This space is attained when you simply relax. You allow your mind to get at ease and let the traffic of thoughts move at its own pace. Gradually, you will notice that the traffic is getting at ease. You'll feel that the space between you and the other vehicles are increasing. And now you can relax and enjoy your ride.
I hope, dear reader, you will give a thought on the importance of space to give your thoughts some space. Trust me, it's a great experiment to try. All you are expected to do is sit and watch this traffic for some time. Look at it with dispassion. I am quite sure gradually you will witness the magic.
Thank You
